Welcome to my IT 810 Project 3 - Storyboard page. For this week's assignment, I have created a storyboard for Project 3 using various programs including: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks and Adobe Acrobat. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, my father passed away while I was taking this course. However, I took the opportunity to use some of the multimedia skills I had already acquired prior to his passing to create a short, five minute memorial video for his funeral. The theme for the video was to tell just a small portion of my dad's life story through the use of photographs and home movies. I knew the funeral would be attended by a diverse group of people representing family, friends and coworkers throughout the years. It was important to me to share a little bit of who Bill Armstrong was with everyone regardless of the context in which they knew my father.
I planned to use Adobe Premiere Pro to create the video. Each slide containing photographs of key moments in my dad's life would be timed to three seconds as I had been given a total of five minutes in the funeral service for the memorial video. Introductory slides to the various sections of the video would be created to help the viewers understand the context of the photographs or home videos. To create the introductory slides, I planned to use both Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks.
Instead of narration for this video, I planned to use music appropriate to the situation and the context of the photos. I hoped to create the proper mood for the occasion while at the same time encouraging a sense of celebration of life instead of the mourning of a life lost.
